Hyacinte Massamba is a former lead drummer with le Ballet National du Congo and co-founder of Ballet-Theatre Monana. An accomplished recording artist, his first album, N’zila, was released in 2004. Hyacinte has toured throughout Africa, Europe, Asia, and the United States as a founding member of the critically acclaimed musical ensemble, Tambours de Brazza. Hyacinte currently resides in France and is a professor at the University of Le Havre.
